Background: I was constantly bombarded with ads for Me + Em - funny thing is, the Instagram algorithm really works because the aesthetic is definitely up my alley. I would have this loop of adding things to cart, especially items that were on sale, get to the check out and then chicken out because I've been burned SO many times by bad online purchases from hot Instagram brands. I happened to be in London for a work trip and I saw the store on Google Maps - it was fate! I walked into the store which was seriously bustling. I tried on a number of items - all the reviews are soon to come! TLDR - I love this brand. I think the designs are super classy, the prints are unique and very feminine, and the quality is excellent. No wonder Kate Middleton is a fan! I don't look quite as good as her, alas... FIT: I think this is meant to be a fairly loose fitting dress. I got a US 4 / UK 8 which worked perfectly for me. Some women might prefer to have a looser silhouette but this was my preference and I found it to be super comfortable. QUALITY: Excellent quality. The fabric is slinky and feels lovely against the touch. It definitely doesn't have the cheap poly feel that some dresses from REISS have. This dress felt a lot more like my Sandro and Ted Baker dresses. Style: I love. What more to say? I love the shape. I LOVE the print (and I very rarely wear prints). The tie can be either worn as a belt or as a pussy bow so it feels very versatile. I love it!＜abbr＞,,, ＜/abbr＞
